Maifest is back!
This year we join the Hackettstown BID International Day to bring you the 4th annual Czig Meister Maifest! Traditionally a German festival to celebrate the end of winter and the start of the growing season, we fill the day with music, food, fun and of course great craft beer. Think of it as Oktoberfest but in Spring! Join us all day on May 14th from 12-10pm to enjoy and celebrate what the new season brings. Our Spring Beer, The Herdsman Bock will be on tap along with seasonal favorites Strawberry Cream ale, Order Belgian Single as well as classic favorites you know and love!
Activities at Czig Meister Brewing:
- Barrel tapping at 12:30 with our friends from the Sussex County Miners Baseball team and Herbie the Miner!
- Traditional Maibaum (Maypole) Dance performed by New Jersey Civic Ballet at 3:00 followed by a sneak peek for their next show “Secret Garden”
- Activities will be happening around town all day- check out the BID website.
Live music in the Biergarten
- Peter & the Wolves- 12:30-3:30
- TBA 6-9pm
James on Main will be serving up some traditional German Style dishes, available to enjoy while having a beer in the Biergarten or to-go.
A few of our Valentine Street neighbors will be hanging out with us: Hackettstown Cross Fit, Mand’s Barber Parlor & Shave Shop. The New Jersey Civic Ballet will be holding a bake sale 3-6pm (or until they sell out).
